More than 50 of the world’s top surf ski racers have already officially entered with the total number of starters expected to double. The defending champions are Tahitian legend Lewis Laughlin and Hawaii’s Megan Quayle. The course record of 3 hours, 21 minutes and 26 seconds was set in 1997 by nine-time winner Dean Gardiner (Australia) who returns to try and capture his elusive 10th title.
