The Oxbow WLT, first stop of two on the Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) World Longboard Tour (WLT), showcases the world’s best 48 longboarders until Sunday, May 11, at the world famous venue of Les Cavaliers for the second consecutive year. Sixteen trialists will surf today to try and conquer the 6 wildcards to join reigning ASP Longboard World Champion Phil Rajzman (BRA) into the main event. Among them will be former top longboarder Zack Howard (USA) and 3X ASP Longboard World Champion Rusty Keaulana (HAW) who will surf in Heat 4 today. The Oxbow WLT pres. by Orange will start Round 1 and Heats 1 to 6 are scheduled to run after the trials. (Source: Oxbow WLT PR)
